Zenos to relaunch E10 lightweight roadster for 2027
Zenos is relaunching its E10 lightweight roadster for 2027 following its acquisition by AC Cars. The revived British brand plans to move from a kit-car format to providing finished, high-performance vehicles.
The new generation of the E10 features an advanced hybrid monocoque consisting of an extruded aluminum spine paired with a recycled carbon fiber tub. This construction allows the vehicle to maintain a curb weight of under 800 kg. To support production, Zenos has entered a strategic agreement with Lotus Cars to utilize the Hethel Performance Hub for assembly.
The flagship E10 rZ model is designed for both track and road use, weighing approximately 790 kg. It is powered by a Volvo turbo engine producing 380 hp and 510 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.2 seconds. The vehicle features a six-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive with a limited-slip differential. In markets like the United States, the model may be offered as a track-only vehicle.
