Zenzap secures $30M to bring AI to traditional industries
Zenzap has secured $30 million in Series A funding, led by Lightspeed and Bessemer Venture Partners. The company aims to bring AI utility to the ‘real economy’—sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, construction, and retail—where AI adoption has remained low compared to the tech sector. Zenzap’s platform is designed to handle administrative tasks for professionals, providing enterprise-grade security and governance.
Simultaneously, a trend is emerging in the design of AI digital assistants. Companies like Meta and OpenAI are moving away from abstract ‘magical’ interfaces toward more personable designs. Meta’s Muse features a furry mascot named Dash and is being developed into a wearable device, while OpenAI’s Dots utilizes customizable avatars to assist with digital organization and tasks.
