Özer Matlı calls for BTSO members to vote in upcoming elections

Özer Matlı, candidate for the presidency of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), has issued a call to the organization's 60,000 members ahead of the elections scheduled for October 1 at the Bursa Exhibition Center.

Matlı highlighted his “Bursa Economy Transformation Plan Vision 2040,” which focuses on supporting small businesses and SMEs. His campaign promises include reducing membership fees, facilitating access to finance, and bringing chamber services directly to industrial sites and marketplaces.

Addressing recent controversies, Matlı claimed to have faced pressure, defamation, and manipulative social media posts from anonymous accounts. He specifically addressed allegations regarding his company's financial practices, stating that the management of daily cash and bank surpluses is conducted legally through banking institutions. He asserted that these attacks are a reaction to his advocacy for the rights of small businesses and SMEs.
