Zero Latency VR to launch Jumanji: The Lost Levels in 2026

Zero Latency VR has announced the global launch of ‘Jumanji: The Lost Levels’ on 4 December 2026. Developed in partnership with Sony Pictures, the experience will be available at Zero Latency locations worldwide, including 110 sites across Australia.

The title marks the company’s first fully hand-tracked experience, utilizing a controller-free interface where players interact with the virtual environment using their own hands rather than buttons or peripherals. Chief Technology Officer Scott Vandonkelaar noted that this technology aims to dissolve the boundary between the player and the game.

Recent research conducted by the company suggests a shift in the VR market toward family-oriented entertainment. A survey of 2,386 adults across Australia, the US, Canada, France, and Spain indicated that 60% of visitors now visit location-based entertainment venues with family members. The largest demographic of Zero Latency visitors is currently aged 35-44, a group that CEO Tim Ruse suggests is seeking social, cooperative experiences to share with their children.
