ZEROBASEONE holds surprise free live performance in Shinjuku

The South Korean boy group ZEROBASEONE held a surprise free live performance at the Shinjuku Tokyu Kabukicho Cine City Plaza in Tokyo on August 20. Approximately 4,000 fans gathered at the venue, following an announcement made less than two hours before the event began.

The performance celebrated the release of their second Japanese EP, ‘Kaikai LOVE’. The group performed several tracks, including a Japanese version of ‘TOP 5’, ‘Yura Yura -Unmei no Hana-’, and ‘NOW OR NEVER’.

A highlight of the event was a special collaboration with Reo Fujii from the Japanese band Omoinotake. Fujii appeared as a surprise guest to provide piano accompaniment for the song ‘Existence’, a track written by Omoinotake for the group. The event concluded with the performance of ‘Only One Story’.

ZEROBASEONE’s recent commercial success in Japan is highlighted by their second EP reaching the number one spot on the Oricon Daily Album Rankings for two consecutive days starting August 18.
