Zerohash launches AUTH to simplify digital asset transfers
Zerohash has launched AUTH, a new service designed to simplify the transfer of digital assets between connected accounts. Announced at the Money20/20 event in Las Vegas, the tool allows users to move cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenized securities without manually entering wallet addresses or selecting blockchain networks.
Users interacting with an app integrated with AUTH can select a connected exchange account or self-custody wallet, complete the necessary authentication, and approve the transfer. While the assets move onchain, the service handles the routing and settlement. Zerohash currently supports 639 wallet connections and four exchange or brokerage connections, with Coinbase, Robinhood, and Gemini listed as live, while Kraken is in beta.
The launch aims to reduce friction in the transfer process, specifically addressing the need for users to repeatedly verify complex wallet addresses. Separately, Zerohash is continuing its pursuit of a national trust bank charter following a resubmission of its application to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in August.
