Zes sponsors İTÜ Racing’s new electric vehicle

Zes has entered into a partnership with the İTÜ Racing Formula Student Team to serve as the title sponsor for the team’s new electric racing vehicle, the IST26, for the 2026 season.

Under the agreement, the vehicle will compete under the name ‘IST26 powered by Electrip | Zes’, combining the branding of Zes, which operates in Turkey, and Electrip, which operates in Europe. The collaboration aims to support students in gaining practical experience in electric vehicle technologies and applying theoretical engineering knowledge to real-world projects.

Cüneyt Tınaz, Country Manager of Zes, stated that the future of electric mobility depends not only on charging infrastructure but also on developing qualified human resources capable of creating new technologies. He emphasized the importance of supporting young engineers as they showcase their technical competencies on the international Formula Student stage.
