Japanese companies advance generative AI and quantum computing technologies
Several Japanese technology firms are expanding their presence in the artificial intelligence and quantum computing sectors. 4X and Z Creative Partners have launched the ‘AI Reputation Program’ on CNET Japan. This new tie-up advertising service is designed for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), creating content specifically structured to be easily integrated into AI model responses. The program utilizes a proprietary ‘AI Reputation Index’ to measure how brands are discussed and recommended by services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
In the commerce sector, ZETA Inc. is highlighting the transition of AI from a phase of excitement to practical application. Following observations from the Shoptalk Fall 2026 conference in the United States, the company is focusing on the implementation of AI to improve customer experience (CX) and retail efficiency.
Additionally, the startup Yaqumo is developing quantum computers using neutral atom technology. Founded in April 2025, the company utilizes lasers to manipulate atoms for quantum computation.
