Greek actress Zeta Makrypoulia turned 48 on July 31 and marked the occasion on August 2 in the coastal town of Aegio, where the touring production of Aristophanes’ comedy “Eirini” was being staged. After the evening show at the open‑air Georgios Pappas theatre, cast members Foivos Delivorias, Thanasis Aleuras and others entered her dressing‑room with a cake, a moment captured on Instagram. Following the performance the troupe celebrated at a restaurant, where Makrypoulia blew the candles again. She later posted a thank‑you message on Instagram, praising the troupe’s harmony on‑ and off‑stage and writing, “the unexpected is always nicer than the expected.”
