Zeta Makrypoulia discusses film return and television future

Greek actress and presenter Zeta Makrypoulia has addressed her professional transition from long-running television projects to film and theater. Following the conclusion of the game show ‘Rouk Zouk’ on ANT1, which ran for nine seasons and over 1,500 episodes, Makrypoulia confirmed that the show is not part of the station's 2026-2027 programming.

Makrypoulia is currently filming the movie ‘Moulish Xanachorisa’, a sequel to the successful film ‘Moulish Chorisa’ released nearly two decades ago. The new production reunites the original cast, including Makrypoulia and Giannis Tsimitseis, under the direction of Vasilis Myrianthopoulos.

Regarding her television career, Makrypoulia described her previous year as ‘bittersweet’, noting that she has experienced significantly better periods. She stated that her television season has not yet fully commenced due to her ongoing commitments in theater, including her current run in ‘Jenny Jenny’ at the Piraeus Municipal Theatre.
