Zeta Municipality hosts legalization info day; Zagreb marks Animal Protection Day

The Municipality of Zeta has announced an open house event for Wednesday, October 7, to assist citizens with the legalization process of unauthorized buildings. The event aims to provide clarity on the requirements for legalization, including the necessity for structures to be recorded on satellite and aerophotogrammetric imagery, registered in the real estate cadastre, and located outside of areas designated for public interest infrastructure.

Representatives from various professional sectors, including cadastral, legal, and architectural experts, will be present. Officials from the Directorate for Property and the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property will also attend to answer specific questions regarding documentation, legal relations, and land buyouts.

In Croatia, the City of Zagreb is organizing celebrations for International Animal Protection Day. The event will take place at European Square in Zagreb, featuring various animal welfare associations and the City of Zagreb Shelter for Unattended Animals. The program includes educational activities, opportunities for pet adoption and volunteering, and a vegan food corner. Further activities will continue on Sunday at the Dumovec shelter, allowing citizens to meet animals seeking permanent homes.
