Com2uS MMORPG ‘Zeus: God of Arrogance’ tops app store charts

The new MMORPGZeus: God of Arrogance’, published by Com2uS and developed by Averton, has achieved significant early success in South Korea. Within 18 hours of its August 26 release, the title reached the number one spot on the revenue charts for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game features a Greek mythology setting where players aim to become the ‘Vessel of the Gods’. It offers cross-platform play between PC and mobile, featuring eight distinct classes and an ‘AI Mode’ for continuous progression. While the game has seen rapid commercial success, some player feedback has highlighted controversial monetization elements, including reports of fees associated with in-game chat functions.

To celebrate the launch, Com2uS is running a large-scale billing discount promotion in partnership with South Korea’s three major mobile carriers: SKT, KT, and LG U+. The promotion, which runs until September 15, offers various discount tiers for users based on their spending levels.
