ZF hosts Info‑Night in Schweinfurt to showcase apprenticeships and dual study programmes
On 10 July, automotive supplier ZF opened its Schweinfurt site on Ernst‑Sachs‑Straße for an Info‑Night aimed at young people and anyone interested in the company’s training opportunities. The event highlighted a range of technical and commercial apprenticeships as well as dual‑study programmes, allowing visitors to explore modern technologies such as CNC machining, laser processing, 3D printing, robotics and a digital learning tool called the Focus Cube.
Martin Mönig, site manager, said, “As a company we bear responsibility for the region and especially for young people at the start of their careers.” About 90 trainees begin their programmes with ZF each year, and the company emphasises that “high‑quality training is the basis for a successful professional future,” according to HR director Marcus Giek. Applications for the next training intake open online in 2026‑27.
The Info‑Night serves as a regional initiative to connect schools with industry, support skills development and reinforce the local labour market.
