Özge Özpirinçci seeks legal protection following death threats

Turkish actress Özge Özpirinçci and her lawyer, Nail Gönenli, have filed a criminal complaint and requested urgent protection from the court, alleging they have received death threats. The legal action is directed at Serkan Süzgün, the father of Kübra Süzgün, who previously acted alongside Özpirinçci in the television series ‘Kadın’.

According to the legal filings, Özpirinçci and Gönenli have been subjected to serious accusations, including being labeled as ‘fraudsters’, ‘money launderers’, and ‘members of a criminal organization’. The claimants assert these allegations are false and pose a significant security risk.

The dispute reportedly stems from a long-standing disagreement regarding the unauthorized use of Kübra Süzgün’s photographs in a commercial advertisement years ago. While the Süzgün family has made various social media allegations against the actress and her lawyer, Gönenli has denied all accusations of fraud and threats.
