Zgierz Hospital completes 50 million PLN modernization

The hospital in Zgierz has completed a major modernization project valued at nearly 50 million PLN. A key component of the investment was the expansion of the operating block, which increased the number of operating rooms from five to eight.

The upgraded facility now includes a new recovery room and advanced medical equipment, such as new surgical lamps, operating tables, and a specialized hysteroscopic-laparoscopic module. The investment also involved modernizing the General and Oncological Surgery Department, the Urology Department, and the Otolaryngology Department.

Funding for the project was provided through the National Recovery Plan (over 40 million PLN) and the budget of the Łódź Voivodeship (over 7 million PLN). In addition to medical equipment, the project covered the modernization of ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, and sanitary installations, as well as the creation of specialized zones for oncology patients.
