Özgür Özel visits Artvin to promise justice and economic reform

Yeni Parti Leader Özgür Özel visited the Artvin districts of Kemalpaşa, Hopa, and Arhavi as part of a political program. During his visits, Özel addressed several key issues including environmental justice, economic mismanagement, and pension reforms.

Özel called for accountability regarding the deaths of environmental activists Metin Lokumcu and Reşit Kibar, who were killed while opposing wild mining activities. He stated that those responsible must face justice under a new administration.

Regarding the economy, Özel criticized the current government's management of capital markets and fund operations, alleging that these practices have victimized retirees, workers, and farmers. He pledged that once his party takes power, they will establish a fair system and ensure that retirees do not have to struggle to survive on inadequate pensions.
