Zhao Wei makes first public appearance after five-year hiatus

Chinese actress Zhao Wei has made her first public appearance since being effectively banned from the Chinese entertainment industry in August 2021. Following years of silence amid reports of economic investigations and her removal from the internet, she attended a hair styling show by renowned stylist Kim Robinson in Singapore on October 20.

Observers noted a change in the actress's appearance, describing her look as less polished than her previous high-fashion persona. The event highlighted her long-standing relationship with Kim Robinson, whom she has supported in Singapore dating back to 2010.
