Zide launches public beta of AI-integrated development workspace

Zide has launched the public beta of its native desktop development workspace, designed to integrate the entire software development lifecycle into a single application. The platform combines coding, Git, issue tracking, pull requests, continuous integration (CI), and terminals with agentic AI.

Unlike traditional tools that separate editors from issue trackers and AI chat windows, Zide aims to provide a workflow-aware environment where the Zide Assist AI agent shares the same context as the projects, files, and Git history. This approach is intended to prevent developers from having to re-explain context when switching between different applications.

The platform is designed to be AI platform-agnostic, allowing users to work with various model providers including Claude, Codex, and Gemini. It also maintains compatibility with major repository hosts such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
