Zielona Góra celebrates annual Winobranie wine harvest festival

The city of Zielona Góra, located in western Poland, is hosting its annual Winobranie festival, a celebration of the region's centuries-old winemaking tradition. The event features dozens of vineyards from across western Poland, offering visitors opportunities to sample sparkling and dry white wines, participate in vineyard tours, and enjoy concerts, markets, and parades.

Zielona Góra’s viticulture heritage dates back to at least 1314. In recent years, the region has seen a revival of winemaking as family-run vineyards combine traditional methods with modern techniques. Local producers, such as the Stara Winna Gora vineyard, play a key role in this resurgence by integrating local art and craftsmanship into the visitor experience to promote regional culture.
