Zielonka residential fire results in hospitalizations and evacuations

A residential fire occurred on September 8, 2026, in Zielonka on Gabriela Zapolska Street. The blaze originated in a first-floor room, causing extensive damage to the unit and filling the stairwell and rest of the building with thick smoke.

Seven people were evacuated from the building. Two individuals were transported to the hospital for medical observation and further diagnostics. While the building's structure and roof remained intact, the electrical installation was destroyed, rendering the property uninhabitable for the time being. Local crisis management is providing assistance to the affected residents.
