Ziggy Marley Discusses New Album and Bob Marley Legacy

Ziggy Marley announced his new album Brightside, a nine‑track spiritual record co‑produced with brother Stephen Marley and recorded at 432 Hz for meditation. The album includes the song “Many Mourn for Bob,” his first composition directly about his late father.

Ahead of the release of the documentary Bob Marley: One Love, Ziggy reflected on his father’s final message, rejecting a widely circulated misquote and emphasizing the principles of self‑lessness, charity and standing up for one’s beliefs that Bob instilled in him. He also spoke about his latest project Rebellion Rises, created with his son Isaiah, describing the collaborative process as a meaningful family experience.
