Zilla Fatu makes explosive WWE NXT debut
Zilla Fatu, son of the late WWE wrestler Umaga and a member of the Anoa’i wrestling family, made his official WWE debut on the August 11, 2026, episode of NXT. Fatu interrupted a high-stakes match between Cruz Montana and Grayson Waller, which was intended to determine the number one contender for NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo.
Fatu attacked both competitors with a Samoan Drop, a Superman Punch, and consecutive Samoan Splashes, resulting in a no-contest finish. Following the assault, Fatu confronted D’Angelo at ringside, declaring himself the “new sheriff in town” and signaling his intent to challenge for the NXT Championship.
