Mexico reports multiple fatal accidents and transport enforcement

Multiple traffic incidents and regulatory actions were reported across various Mexican regions. In Hidalgo, a public transport unit collided with a motorcycle on the México-Pachuca highway near Acayuca, resulting in injuries but no fatalities; the operator's insurance will cover the damages.

In Puebla, a trailer carrying beer caught fire on the Cuacnopalan–Oaxaca highway near San José Miahuatlán. The fire, possibly caused by a mechanical failure, caused temporary road closures but resulted in no injuries.

Fatalities were reported in other accidents: a transit official died following a collision with a dump truck in Tequila, and three youths were killed in a head-on motorcycle collision in Tarímbaro, Michoacán. Additionally, a motorcyclist died after being dragged 50 meters by a car on the Zitácuaro-Morelia highway.

In Veracruz, authorities conducted an operation against ride-sharing services, intercepting a BlaBlaCar vehicle and leaving passengers stranded as officials enforced regulations against non-concessioned transport.
