Zimbabwe National Army hosts 15th annual schools sports finals

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) is hosting the 15th edition of the Commander ZNA Schools Sports Final Competition and Merit Awards. The event, which runs from July 27 to July 31, 2026, involves 19 ZNA schools, including 12 primary and seven secondary institutions from across the country.

Participants are competing in various academic and sporting disciplines, such as athletics, soccer, netball, basketball, chess, quiz, music, and drill displays. The competition aims to nurture talent while promoting discipline, teamwork, and patriotism. The theme for this year focuses on unlocking the heritage-based curriculum through the use of indigenous knowledge and culture to support holistic learner development.
