Zimbabwe political landscape faces regional shifts and opposition challenges

Zimbabwe's political landscape is characterized by a perceived regional power shift and a recurring struggle within the opposition to establish durable institutional strength. Since 2017, there has been a notable trend toward Karanga regional influence within the state, government, and even certain opposition circles, potentially challenging previous political hegemonies.
