Zimbabwe Women retain squad for upcoming tour of India

Zimbabwe Cricket has announced an unchanged 15-player squad for the upcoming six-match white-ball tour of India. The selection follows the team's historic first-ever ICC Women’s Championship victory against the West Indies.

Led by captain Josephine Nkomo, the tour will consist of three T20 internationals followed by three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The T20I series is scheduled for October 16, 18, and 20 in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The teams will then move to Vadodara, Gujarat, for the ODI matches on October 23, 25, and 28.

India will be captained by Smriti Mandhana, who recently assumed full-time leadership. Zimbabwe's squad features key players such as Nyasha Gwanzura, Michelle Mavunga, and Francisca Chipare in the bowling department, while the batting lineup includes Modester Mupachikwa and Beloved Biza.
