Zimmer Biomet reports Q3 growth and introduces new surgical technology

Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. has announced the introduction of Surgeon-Guided Autonomy, a new technology category designed for intelligent orthopedic surgery. The framework, which follows a Predict, Perform, Recover model, aims to use intelligent systems to assist with surgical planning, execution, and recovery while maintaining surgeon control and expertise.

Following the company's third-quarter 2026 financial results, several financial institutions raised their price targets for the stock. Zimmer Biomet reported organic revenue growth of 3.7%, exceeding market expectations, and adjusted earnings per share of $1.90 on revenue of $2.06 billion. While the knee division underperformed, strong results in the hip and technology sectors, including the adoption of the OrthoGrid AI-based navigation system, contributed to the positive results. Analysts from Truist, Stifel, Jefferies, and BMO Capital have adjusted their outlooks accordingly.
