Zinacantepec hosts second agricultural and artisanal expo

The municipality of Zinacantepec hosted the Second Agricultural and Artisanal Expo Fair to support local producers and strengthen the regional economy. The event brought together more than 120 participants, including artisans and producers from Zinacantepec and several surrounding municipalities such as Villa Victoria, Lerma, Metepec, and San Mateo Atenco.

During the fair, exhibitors showcased and sold agricultural goods and traditional handcrafted items directly to the public. To support the agricultural sector, the municipal government distributed poultry packages to 200 families to encourage backyard production and improve household food security and income.

Mayor Manuel Vilchis Viveros emphasized the importance of creating commercial spaces that allow workers to sell their products directly, preserving traditional techniques and supporting those who work the land.
