Zinc Football Academy hosts National Sports Day event in Rajasthan

The Zinc Football Academy (ZFA), a social impact initiative by Hindustan Zinc Limited, hosted a community event at Zawar Stadium in Rajasthan to celebrate National Sports Day. The event brought together elite academy trainees, including members of the girls’ residential academy, and over 100 children from surrounding rural communities for football activities designed to promote fitness, teamwork, and grassroots sports participation.

ZFA focuses on identifying and nurturing young football talent from rural areas by providing professional coaching and structured training pathways. During the celebrations, the academy also initiated the countdown to the Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon, scheduled for September 2026, which aims to promote athletic excellence and well-being across the Rajasthan region.
