Zinciriye Medresesi restored as educational center in Diyarbakır

The Zinciriye Medresesi in Diyarbakır, a historic educational site attributed to either the Artuqid ruler Kutbuddin Muzaffer Sökmen or the Ayyubid Sultan Melik Salih Necmeddin, has undergone restoration. Following a period of neglect and use as a museum, the Hayrat Foundation has led efforts to revitalize the structure.

The medrese now serves as an active educational center, offering free courses in approximately 15 to 16 different fields. These include Ottoman Turkish and foreign languages, aiming to reconnect the local community with its cultural and historical heritage.
