Zion Suzuki Targeted by PSG, Juventus as Parma Talks Proceed

Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, 23, is the subject of transfer interest from French club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Italian side Juventus. PSG view him as a future investment but cannot guarantee a starting role, while Juventus would consider him first‑choice only if a deal for Emiliano Martínez falls through.

Suzuki currently belongs to Serie A club Parma, which acquired him from Belgium's Sint‑Truiden (STVV) for €8.2 million in summer 2024 after a season in which he played 32 matches and kept six clean sheets. Transfermarkt now values him at about €30 million. He had previously been on loan from Japan's Urawa Reds before moving permanently to STVV.

The Japanese international is the country's number‑one goalkeeper with 28 caps and played every match of the 2026 World Cup. Parma has not yet given permission for a move, leaving the potential transfer pending.

Fabrizio Romano reported on social media that negotiations are ongoing, highlighting the differing roles each club envisions for Suzuki.
