Zions Bancorporation authorizes $75 million share buyback and raises quarterly dividend

Zions Bancorporation’s board of directors approved a share repurchase program of up to $75 million of common stock for the third quarter of 2026, part of a previously authorized $300 million target for the year. The board also increased the regular quarterly dividend on common shares by 6.7% to $0.48 per share, payable on August 20, 2026 to shareholders of record on August 13, 2026. In addition, a quarterly cash dividend on the company’s Series A perpetual preferred shares was declared, with payment scheduled for September 15, 2026 to holders of record on September 1, 2026. Execution of the buyback will depend on market conditions and regulatory requirements. Zions Bancorporation, a regional bank with approximately $89 billion in assets and $3.4 billion in 2025 net revenue, operates in 11 western U.S. states.
