ZIPANG announces red snow crab festival in Shiga, Osaka, and Aichi

ZIPANG, a Kansai-based event planning company, has announced the ‘Kani Matsuri Fuyu no Jin’ (Crab Festival Winter Edition) in collaboration with Koitaro Suisan. The event will run from October 2026 through January 2027 across four venues in Shiga, Osaka, and Aichi prefectures.

Participants will be served two large red snow crabs from Yamagata Prefecture, each weighing over 800g, accompanied by crab rice and crab soup. The event also features professional lectures on how to prepare and eat crab, with Koitaro Suisan representative Takamasa Suzuki scheduled to lead sessions at the Shiga venue.
