Zipaquirá vehicle hangs from fifth-floor parking level

A vehicle became partially suspended from a fifth-floor parking level in a residential complex in Zipaquirá, Cundinamarca, on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred in the La Toscana sector when a driver, who was accompanied by a baby, struck a wall while attempting to reverse into a parking space.

The impact damaged the structure and left the rear wheels of the SUV hanging over the edge. Residents of the complex assisted the driver and the infant in exiting the vehicle before emergency services arrived. The Zipaquirá Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, using shoring equipment to stabilize the vehicle and prevent it from falling.

While ambulances were dispatched to the site, no injuries were reported, and medical transport was not required. The incident caused traffic congestion near the Cajicá-Zipaquirá-Ubaté road roundabout. Authorities are investigating the cause of the loss of control and whether structural issues contributed to the accident.
