Ziro Festival of Music 2026 preparations underway in Arunachal Pradesh

The Ziro Festival of Music is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 27, 2026, in the Ziro Valley of Arunachal Pradesh. Held at the Ziro Festival Ground in Biiri, the four-day event will feature a diverse lineup of international and Indian artists spanning indie, rock, electronic, hip-hop, and folk genres. Announced performers include Michael Dias, Yohani, Owelle, Vedan, Kaali Duniya, and Yelho.

Local administration and stakeholders have begun coordinating logistics to ensure a smooth event. A planning session led by MLA Hage Appa, Deputy Commissioner Hage Tarung, and Superintendent of Police Keni Bagra focused on venue logistics, security protocols, and traffic control. Key departments, including Public Works, Power, and Emergency Services, have been assigned specific operational tasks.

Sustainability is a priority for the 2026 edition, with the Urban Development team outlining solid waste management plans to maintain the festival grounds. Tickets for the event start at Rs 3,700, with options for on-site camping or local accommodation.
