Zixi and Tieline to showcase new broadcast technologies at IBC 2026

At the IBC 2026 trade show, Zixi and Tieline will showcase new technologies designed to optimize live video distribution and IP-based workflows.

Zixi will present its Broadcaster Version 19, a platform aimed at managing live video across cloud, local, and hybrid environments. The update addresses network instability and the increasing complexity of transmission chains. Key features include patented seamless failover, multipath redundancy, and the ability to recover from up to 40% packet loss. The company claims its platform can reduce computational and bandwidth costs by up to three times compared to traditional methods.

Tieline will introduce its ViA Duo codec to the European market for the first time, alongside the Gateway Nexus. The ViA Duo is a portable device that integrates IP codec, AoIP commentary, and remote production functions into a single unit. It is designed for field reporting, sports commentary, and remote presenters, combining mixing, equalization, compression, and recording capabilities into one device to support unified IP workflows.
