ZKF to showcase accident repair technology at Automechanika 2026

The Zentralverband Karosserie- und Fahrzeugtechnik e. V. (ZKF) has announced its participation in Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. Representing over 3,200 member companies, the ZKF will focus on the breadth of the accident repair industry, covering passenger cars, caravans, and motorhomes.

In collaboration with Eurogarant-Autoservice AG, the ZKF will provide technical information and professional exchange. A key highlight includes demonstrations regarding the repair of bumper covers in relation to radar-based driver assistance systems. These demonstrations aim to address the technical challenges and limits of repairing modern vehicles equipped with advanced sensor technology.

Additionally, the VDIK (Association of International Automobile Manufacturers) will also be present at the event, placing a focus on brand aftersales.
