Zlatá Praha International Television Festival returns to Prague

The 63rd Zlatá Praha International Television Festival is scheduled to take place from September 23 to 26 at the Obecní dům in Prague. As one of the world's oldest television festivals, it maintains a unique focus on programs dedicated to music and dance.

This year's competition features 84 entries spanning various genres, including musical documentaries, opera productions, and concert recordings. Notable entries include a production of Jean-Philippe Rameau's 'Platée' by the SKUTR directing duo and a documentary on the Prague Philharmonic Choir titled 'The Power of Voice'.

The program includes Czech Television premieres, an Opera Gala, and the 'Golden Dance Floor' event, where attendees can interact with stars from the StarDance competition, such as Jan Tománek and Marta Dancingerová. Festival director Tomáš Motl emphasized the event's prestige and its tradition of connecting audiences with exceptional musical and dance artistry.
