Zlata šapa entrepreneurship competition winners announced

The Zlata šapa entrepreneurship competition, organized by the Kočevje Entrepreneurial Incubator, has concluded its sixth edition. The ceremony took place at the Kočevje Cultural Center, where winners were announced in the start-up and potential entrepreneur categories.

Maja Rus, representing Rikki Shoes, won in the start-up category, while Tilen Konte, representing Greta kremšnito, was named the winner in the potential entrepreneur category. The competition featured ten high-quality ideas, which were narrowed down to six finalists by a professional commission.

Adem Ibrahimović, director of the Kočevje Entrepreneurial Incubator, noted that while the core format remains unchanged, the competition's recognition is expanding beyond the Kočevje region. Applications for the 2027 cycle are expected to open significantly earlier than in previous years.
