Zlatan Ibrahimovic's former luxury villa in Åre listed for sale

The luxury villa in Åre, Sweden, originally commissioned by football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic between 2013 and 2015, has been listed for sale with a reduced price of approximately 27.5 million Swedish kronor (roughly 2.4 million euros).

The property, marketed as ‘Ze villa’, has seen several price reductions since its initial listing at 32 million kronor. It was last sold in 2021 for 30 million kronor to a group of Swedish entrepreneurs, including tech billionaire Saeid Esmaeilzadeh. Since that purchase, the owners have added features such as a master suite and a game room.

Real estate agents from Sotheby’s International Realty report that while the property’s association with Ibrahimovic adds to its allure, buyers are primarily drawn to its unique architecture, views of the Jämtland ski resort, and its quiet location away from tourist crowds. The current market conditions for exclusive properties are noted to be different than in previous years.
