Zlataritsa Municipality approves 2026 budget

The Zlataritsa Municipal Council has approved the municipal budget for 2026, establishing a financial framework of 5,367,360 euros. During the session, councilors determined the base salaries for the mayor and local village mayors.

Key legislative actions included reviewing the readiness of schools and kindergartens for the 2026/2027 academic year, specifically approving the use of small or merged classes in several local educational institutions. The council also updated the program for managing municipal property, which involved decisions on leasing agricultural land in Rodina and setting market prices for properties in Kalaydzhii and Cheshma.

Additionally, Mayor Petar Ganev was authorized to contract public passenger transport services according to established schedules and to represent the municipality at the General Assembly of the Water and Sewerage Association for the territory served by ‘Yovkovtsi Water and Sewerage’ Ltd.
