Zlatibor hosts DIBF 3x3 Deaf World Cup

The Deaf International Basketball Federation (DIBF) 3x3 World Cup has commenced in Zlatibor, Serbia. The tournament, which runs from September 1 to September 5, features 17 men's and 11 women's national teams from around the world.

Greece is represented in the competition by both its men's and women's national 3x3 deaf basketball teams. The Greek men's roster includes Panagiotis Vaiopoulos, Christos Ganatsas, Konstantinos Bellos, and Ektoras Mitsonis. The women's roster consists of Chrysanthi Chaina, Stefania Patera, Georgia Tsaroucha, and Georgia Kamariotou.

In addition to the basketball tournament, the Greek national deaf orienteering team is also present in the mountainous region of Zlatibor to conduct training preparations ahead of the 11th European Deaf Orienteering Championships in Serres.
