Zlatko Dalić's firms post €2.4 m profit as Gulf states pitch €5 m coaching deal

Croatian national team coach Zlatko Dalić co‑owns Zero Digital, a Varaždin‑based IT services firm that recorded €2.39 million in revenue and €1.78 million net profit in 2025, ranking among the country’s 50 most successful ICT companies. The same group owns VŽ2018, a hospitality company with €1.96 million revenue and €46,911 net profit, and Football Area, a micro‑enterprise generating €162,000 revenue and €18,820 net profit.

Dalić receives about €1.5 million a year from the Croatian Football Federation. According to media reports, the United Arab Emirates has offered him a €5 million annual package to coach their national side, with Saudi Arabia and Qatar also mentioned as potential destinations. The offers are described as far more lucrative than his current earnings and would involve a less stressful role.

The reports note that, despite the financial incentives, Dalić has not ruled out remaining with Croatia, where he led the team to the knockout stage of the World Cup and is expected to guide them in upcoming Nations League fixtures.
