Zlatna igla Zagreba fashion show features Japanese designer Kohshin Satoh
The 91st edition of the ‘Zlatna igla Zagreba’ fashion show was held at the Zagreb Fair, celebrating the skill and creativity of local craftsmen. As one of Croatia’s longest-running fashion manifestations, the event showcased autumn/winter 2026 collections from numerous local designers and artisans, ranging from couture and fur salons to jewelry and millinery.
A major highlight of the event was the appearance of avant-garde Japanese designer Kohshin Satoh, founder of the fashion house Arrston Volaju. Satoh, known for dressing icons such as David Bowie and Andy Warhol, brought a unique international dimension to the showcase.
Artist Stephan Lupino also drew significant attention during the event. Highlighting a 35-year professional relationship with Satoh, Lupino performed a piece on the runway carrying a grinder and displayed several sculptures from his ‘Second World’ cycle at the entrance of the venue.
