Zlatna Ribica ranks among Europe’s top five bars

The European Bar Guide has released its annual ranking of the 100 best bars in Europe, prioritizing atmosphere, local culture, and unique character over luxury. Sarajevo’s Zlatna Ribica secured the fifth position on the list.

Budapest’s Szimpla Kert took the top spot. Known as a pioneer of the “ruin bar” concept, the venue is located in an abandoned factory and features an eclectic, labyrinthine interior. Following Szimpla Kert, Retsins Lucifernum in Bruges, Belgium, ranked second, described as a unique combination of a museum and a bar. The top five list is rounded out by Belgian establishments La Fleur en Papier Doré and Goupil Le Fol, which took third and fourth places respectively.
