ZLF official reports brake tampering on bicycle in Sombor

Jovana Đurović, a councilwoman for the Green-Left Front (ZLF) in Sombor, has reported that an unknown person unscrewed the brakes on her bicycle. Đurović stated that she discovered the tampering while riding with a two-year-old child. The incident occurred in a locked courtyard of her residential building, which is only accessible to residents.

Đurović noted that this follows a month of increasing pressure, including two previous instances where her bicycle tires were punctured. While she stated she has no direct proof of who is responsible, she mentioned indications that the incident might be linked to the ruling party, noting that the mayor and his partner reside in the same building. She intends to file a criminal complaint against unknown persons.

Radomir Lazović, co-leader of the ZLF, visited Sombor to support Đurović, describing the situation as an attack on a prominent female official. Lazović claimed this is the third attack on ZLF female council members in the last ten days, citing similar incidents in Pančevo and Smederevo. The party is calling on the police to identify those responsible.
