Zlín and Trenčín to be connected by new cross-border bus line
A new cross-border bus line, number 735, will connect the Czech cities of Zlín and Uherský Brod with the Slovak city of Trenčín starting Sunday, August 30. The route will also serve Luhačovice and selected municipalities along the way.
Coordinated by the Zlín Region and the Trenčín Self-Governing Region, the service will offer four trips per day in each direction. Most services will be direct, though the first morning trip from Zlín and the last evening trip from Trenčín will require a transfer in Uherský Brod. The new line is designed to facilitate commuting for work and education, while also supporting regional tourism.
Passengers can pay using Czech koruna, euros, bank cards, mobile phones, or the Zetka card. The service integrates with existing rail connections in Trenčín and Uherský Brod, linking travelers to major destinations such as Bratislava, Košice, Prague, and Olomouc.
