Zlín library in Díly to undergo reconstruction into community center

The Díly branch library in Zlín is set to undergo a major reconstruction to transform it into a modern community center. Project documentation is currently being processed, with construction planned to begin next year.

As the only major branch in the eastern part of Zlín, the facility serves approximately 10,000 visitors annually and handles at least 30,000 loans. The renovation aims to create a multifunctional space for reading, education, and social interaction, catering to students, families, and seniors. This initiative follows successful modernizations of other Zlín library branches, such as those in Malenovice and Jižní Svahy.
