Zlín opens new 40 million CZK modern children's playground

A new modern playground and recreational area has opened in the Padělky location of Zlín, Czech Republic. The project, which cost approximately 40 million CZK and took four years to complete, covers an area of about 3,100 square meters.

Designed for children aged 3 to 12, the facility features a large pirate ship with slides, ground trampolines, carousels, and a water mister for hot weather. The site also includes an asphalt in-line track for skating and cycling, as well as multi-purpose courts for mini-football and mini-streetball. To ensure accessibility, a new concrete footbridge was constructed over the Fryštácký stream to connect the area to the municipal cycle path. The facility is fully barrier-free and includes amenities for parents such as covered seating, changing tables, and designated areas for food trucks.
