Zlín pedestrian bridge to close for two-month repair

A frequently used pedestrian bridge over the Dřevnice river in Zlín will close for two months for repairs. The project, which was delayed after an initial failed public tender, was successfully re-tendered for approximately 2.19 million CZK excluding VAT.

SWIETELSKY stavební s. r. o. has been selected as the contractor. The renovation is necessary due to the bridge's deteriorating technical condition. The work will include replacing walking insulation, cleaning and repairing the main bridge structure with a new sanitary layer and coating, and replacing the railings. The project was initiated through the ‘Tvoříme Zlín’ participatory budget.
